good for value - Jiyoung, Korea South

I went to Niseko second time this year. Last year I stayed in Ruby chalete and this time I stayed in Asuka value.
When I searched the accommodation,I thought the location very important for ski lift.
Asuka is quite close to the lift,but we needed up hill a little. However the location is very nice. It takes about 7 minute to lift.
Moreover most restaurants and shops, mart are close.
The accommodation seems like just a picture.
But one room is quite small, so we couldn't open the luggage in the room.
Another one is quite spacious.
We were all 3 people, I think the flat prefer for 3 people.
It didn't have a washing machine and local telphone.

Great Apartment in Lower Hirafu Village - Alexander, United States

This apartment was a great value for our 6 night stay in Niseko Hirafu. The apartment was clean, warm, and well stocked. Some days we walked to the lifts, other days there was space available on the free shuttle and we took that. The shuttle stop is nearly across the street. The walk wasn't bad (~15 mins in snowboard gear with boards) and was a good warm up for riding. The very warm dry room in the basement was nice to store wet snow gear. The laundry facilities and spare bathrooms in the basement were also a great feature. I would definitely recommend this apartment and would stay here again, although next time we may opt for something slightly closer to the lifts. All dealings with Holiday Niseko were awesome and I wouldn't hesitate to use them for any needs in this area in the future. Thank you!

We stayed in unit 1, a 4-bed unit that was good enough for 2 adults + 1 infant. Pretty cosy and basic but absolutely good enough to enjoy the insanely good Niseko powder.

We had a couple of issues (including one with heating) but the team fixed the issues promptly.
Check-in was a bit of a weird one, I didn’t seem to get the details but I managed to contact the team and they shared the code for our accommodation so we got in without any issues.

Kitchen facilities - they’ve got pretty much everything you should need (pots, pans, kettle, oven, microwave, hob) and provide some basics like tea, coffee, sugar etc. which was good. Fridge was in the bathroom.

Each unit also has a sort of wet area before the living area to hang jacket/pants etc and basement ski storage area too (which is heated) as well as free washing machines w/ powder and paid tumble dryers - so quite handy.

We went with a couple other families so saw some other 4 bed units - ours was definitely the worst/smallest so try to avoid unit 1 if you have the choice. It would be a tight squeeze for 4 adults or even 2 adults + 2 kids. The other units had much bigger living areas, kitchens and proper dining areas. Unit 1 had a very small kitchen, a very small living room and a breakfast bar with about 60% of the bar space covered by the appliances that didn’t fit in the kitchen - so difficult, if not impossible, for all 4 people to eat at the same time. One positive about the small size of unit 1 is that it was quick to warm up the unit.

All of the units are just down the hill in hirafu, about 5-10 minute walk to the main hirafu strip which was good. About 10-15 minute walk to the family chair lift and a 15-20 minute walk to the king gondola - there are free shuttle buses for niseko pass holders but they were quite busy/full often so not a guarantee you’ll get on. It snowed every day for us 10-20cm/day so the road up can get slippery so be careful.

Overall, it was a good location and we were able to get out to all the 4 parts of Niseko to enjoy the amazing snow. Probably would explore other accom options personally when I next come back to Niseko but Asuka is a great place to enjoy the powder and probably a bit more budget friendly for smaller groups/families.

It was a very comfortable and affordable accommodation. A long slog up the hill with skis but there is a bus if you want to wait for it. The rooms are a good size, beds comfortable, enough stuff to cook your own meals and it was great having the heater plus TV with netflix.
