First up,The Maples. Completed just 4 years ago it is one of Niseko's newest ski in ski out editions. Located on Hirafu Zakka, Hirafu's main street the location is excellent. It is an easy walk to some of the areas best restaurants and most importantly the accommodations other entrance backs straight onto the Ace Family course. You can take the elevator straight down from whatever level you are staying on and will be stepping into your bindings in mere moments.
If you are learning to ski you can arrange to meet your private instructor on the snow and be working on your falling leaf or pizza slice straight out of the door. For more advanced skiers and snowboarders it takes less than a minute to ski down to the base of the Ace Family Chair and from the top of this you can ski down to the Center 4 chair lift which puts the rest of the mountain in the palm of your hand. Next on the list is The Vale, one of Hirafu's original ski in ski out properties representing Niseko luxury accommodation at it's best. The Vale has built a well deserved reputation as one of the most desirable places to stay in the village with a stunning array of different rooms that range form standard hotel style rooms to luxury 3 bedroom apartments with incredible views onsens and of course immediate access to the slopes. The Vale isn't quite ski in ski out as it is a slight 40m walk up hill to the base of the Ace Family Chair.
The Vale's location at the bottom of the Ace Family Chair means that you are not only slope side but also within walking distance of some of the best dining opportunities in the village. Aya Niseko is located right across from The Vale and also gives you immediate access to the Ace Family Chair. AYA's contemporary design inside and out welcomes you into the warm surrounds while celebrating the natural beauty of its alpine location. The south side of the building enjoys incredible Yotei Views from the lower units, penthouses and residences a like. The ski slope side of the building looks straight up the the Ace Family Chair and beyond with the learners area below making for an entertaining view too.
Like the nearby Vale, Aya is an easy walk to many great dining options and also has it's own great restaurant, Ginger. Now all of the options above are incredible properties featuring luxurious slope side opulence but what if you want the convenience of being a stones throw from the lifts without the price tag? There are a couple of excellent options that although not quite ski in ski out are fantastically convenient and aren't quite as hard on the wallet.
First up is First Tracks, a two story apartment block quite literally a stones throw from the base of the Ace Family Chair. The apartments are well thought out and have everything you need for an excellent Niseko holiday. As with all of the properties mentioned that are located close to the base of the Ace Family Chair, First Tracks puts the ski school meeting point on your front door step and some of the best restaurants in the village at your back door. Niseko Landmark View is one of 3 upper Village properties with almost immediate access to the Hirafu Gondola. With both premium and deluxe rooms to choose from and both 2 and 3 bedroom apartment options Niseko Landmark View is an excellent choice. The Hirafu Gondola connects you to the rest of the Niseko United in just minutes plus it has excellent skiing straight out of the gondola station.
For the powder hounds you can walk from Niseko Landmark to the gondola base building in just a couple minutes and be hiking to the incredible gladed runs of Miharashi in even less.
