The Snowbird building is located 300 meters from the Ace Family Chair in Hirafu village and in the heart of the main shopping and dining area.

Snowbird Studios has seven self-contained studios and a couple of one bedroom apartments. They are all fully self-contained, have wooden floors, fully-equipped kitchens, lounge/dining area and private bathrooms plus laundry/ski/dry room facilities in the building. The Studio Loft units sleep up to four guests comfortably.

Six of the studio units have mezzanine floors and vaulted ceilings. The apartments offer incredible convenience at reasonable rates. All units have views of either the resort, Mt Yotei or a private silver birch forest.

Snowbird's location is fantastic, providing easy access to the lifts, with the base of the Ace Family Chair just a five minute walk away. If this wasn't enough the Hirafu Intersection shuttle stop makes access to Hanazono a breeze. With its central location the most famous restaurants and renowned eateries in Hirafu are also at your fingertips. Convenience plus.

Sadly we shared most of the week with some very noisy and inconsiderate guests who came in at various times from midnight or later each night , seemed to be inebriated and made an enormous amount of noise. This really affected my sleeping and restful ness which was a very disapppointing . I don’t know how this can be better managed but I will think twice before booking Snowbird in the future.

Would definitely stay here again. - Marc, United States Stayed in the 2 bdr. unit in the basement level of Snowbird. Location was awesome, just a few minutes walk to Hirafu intersection, and a few more minutes to the Hirafu Base! Accommodations were roomy enough for 5 adults, also loved the convenience of having a full kitchen. Furniture was a little dated, but still very clean and more than adequate. Would have liked more windows (only in bedrooms) and a better view, but the trade off for one of the bigger units was worth it in my opinion. Convenient dry room on premises with ample room for all guest’s equipment. Overall a very pleasant accommodations. Nothing fancy, but everything you need, and an amazing location convenient to everything I’m Hirafu Village!

It has its own parking spaces right in front of the property though some vehicles from other properties were parking in the limited space sometimes!
