Perfect Family holiday house

We loved our stay at Zangetsu, the service we received from the moment we enquired to being picked up and dropped at the train station, was fantastic! Thank you we will stay again!

Loved Zangetsu and Holiday Niseko!

Zangetsu house exceeded our expectations. It was perfect for our group. We loved the open floorplan upstairs so we could all hang out together comfortably after skiing.
It's just a few minutes walk to restaurants, shops and bars or the shuttle stop is very close by with the shuttle coming around very frequently and it's a quick ride to anywhere you want to be. You COULD technically walk to slopes but it is uphill and with all your gear, it's a bit of work. Otherwise we found we often walked most everywhere.
We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent accommodation

Really good accommodation, new and stylish with ample living space. Bit of a trek to most of the resteraunts and also too far for ski lifts. We had a car and would recommend people staying here to do the same.

Good location

Good location close to Grand Hirafu. This place have no proper parking space, not so well equipped kitchenware and only washing machine but no drying machine.

Expect better service at front desk

The property is clean and spacious, comfortably accommodated 6 of us. The water heater was not working when we checked-in. Luckily the staff came to help fix it (actually to turn it on somewhere secretly) in time, else can't imagine how we can survive under the winter icy time.

Zangetsu

It was a good overall experience and I would recommend Zangetsu to my friends. For that price point, there should scope for the following improvement:

1. There should be at least 1 change of towels and bedsheets for a 6 Night stay especially since we used the sauna.

2. There should be at least 1 clean-up session for a 6 night stay.

Thank you for taking the time to review your stay at Zangetsu! For a 6 x night stay you would of received two towel changes, one on the 3rd day and one on the 5th day. You are correct that with use of the sauna it would be good to have some additional towels to use for this purpose, we will take this into consideration for bookings going forward.
